Weed Patrol

Contact Michael Wilson at 704 807 0762, if you would like to volunteer for 2 hours on any given Saturday morning at 9-11 am. We will walk the property and pull any weeds we see growing in beds. parking lot courtyard and sidewalks. This will keep our property looking nice and save us a lot of money that we would otherwise have to pay to a landscape company. Beginning in January 2025 we will work Saturdays to remove all stray ivy in beds and encroaching on the building. 2 volunteers needed.

Dumpster Etiquette

Please remember if you have bulky items by the dumpster it is critical that you call 311 and request City pickup. Also do everything you can to reduce waste and break down any boxes so we can keep our dumpster from overflowing. If you can compact your trash in any way that is helpful.

Plumbing Best Practice

Do Not Flush these items! NO flushable wipes, NO tampons or anything that could damage our fragile old plumbing. Use the least amount of toilet paper as possible and NEVER use drano or harsh chemicals to unclog drains. Contact a professional plumber or contact the board know for safe options. Once a quarter maintenance: To your kitchen sink add one cup of baking soda followed by one cup of cleaning vinegar. Wait 20 min. then pour into the drain 1 gallon of boiling water. This will safely clean your kitchen sink drains keeping them clear and free of clogs.
